Helium Element Access Points

Author : Helium Published Time : 2017-10-05
Helium Element Access Points allow Atom devices to connect out of the box using Helium's Infrastructure. The devices communicate long distances with little interference and requiring no device-level configuration. Each Element can support thousands of Atom devices which means only one Element may be needed. One can possibly cover an entire office building, two for a manufacturing facility, or three for a multi-acre farm. An Ethernet Element connects to the Helium Routing Infrastructure over ethernet, allowing for zero-configuration deployment. The Cellular Element connects to the Helium Routing Infrastructure anywhere there is cellular service for various applications. These applications include fleet, agricultural, or manufacturing. Data is securely routed to any cloud platform. Ethernet-backed Helium Elements also supports power over an Ethernet port with no additional power source required.
