OSRAM Opto Semiconductors OSCONIQ® S 3030 QD LEDs feature Quantum Dot technology for high performance and best-in-class reliability. Quantum Dots are highly tunable nanometer-sized semiconductor particles that enable the OSCONIQ S 3030 QD LEDs to deliver 173lm/W efficacy in warm-white CCT with a 90 CRI Color Rendering Index, whereas typical warm-white LEDs in the same class deliver efficacy in the 140lm/W to 150lm/W range. These LEDs also utilize an encapsulation process for the Quantum Dots to protect them from moisture and other external influences that pose the greatest risk to the functionality of a LED.
